Dr. Blake Ligon is the Teaching Pastor at our Paragould Campus. He is passionate about expository preaching, leadership development, family discipleship, vision casting, and manliness within the local church. He received his bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Ouachita Baptist University. He received his Masters of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and his doctorate in Executive Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking, reading, art, and traveling. He is married to his best friend Joy and they are having a blast raising their three children.

 

 

Colby Boyd joined the staff of Central’s Paragould Campus as the Student Director in the Fall of 2022. Colby is a hometown kid from Paragould where he graduated from Greene County Tech in 2017. He has a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State in Secondary Education, and is currently getting his Master’s of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Colby believes the students of the city of Paragould and the surrounding area have a vital role to play within the church as they continue to grow and mature. Colby and his wife, Emily, have been married for 2 years, have one dog named Herbie, and love being outdoors. They are both passionate about reaching the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling them, and sending them out to further grow the Kingdom

Paula Erwin is the Central Kids and Preschool Director at our Paragould Campus. She received her bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University. She and her husband Jeff have two children. Paula worked at the main campus as the Director of Parent’s Day Out and was called to move to the Paragould Campus when it launched. She has a burden to equip parents to lead their families in gospel-centered homes; and she and her family are passionate about missions.

 

Jennifer began serving as the Connections Assistant at Paragould Campus at the time of our launch in 2018. She LOVES people and enjoys connecting with visitors, new believers, and new members as they grow in their relationship with Christ. Jennifer hopes to encourage a love and excitement for our role in God’s plan for our community and His church.
Jennifer and her husband, Ryan, were born and raised in Nashville, TN. However, they have called NEA home since 2006. They love raising their four children in this community.

Jill is the Paragould Campus Discipleship/Next Gen Campus Assistant. She and her husband, Tony, and daughter Elisabeth came to Central Paragould Campus in early 2022. Jill grew up in Light, Arkansas, graduating from Greene County Tech High School and Arkansas State University. She moved to Northern Virginia, where she served her church as an Administrative Assistant for over 10 years. Upon returning to Arkansas, she met and married Tony. They also have two adult children, a son-in-law, and three grandchildren. Jill is grateful to use her gifts and skills to further God’s kingdom in Greene County and is constantly reminded it is never too late for God to use you, no matter your age or status. She strives to make people feel welcomed and is excited to contribute to the Paragould Campus.
