"We Are Joining Jesus To Reach More People And
Lead Them Into a Growing Relationship With Him"

Our first responsibility is right here in Arkansas, especially in the cities where we have campuses.
Through Local Missions we support, grow, and partner with local ministries to reach the people of our state.

Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief

Arkansas Baptist State Convention Disaster Relief extends the love of Christ to disaster survivors by preparing hot meals, removing damaging trees and debris, tarping roofs, shoveling mud, providing emergency communications, and coordinating the response through Incident Command leadership. Following a common ministry pattern of Jesus Christ, volunteers seek to share God’s grace, hope, and Truth while meeting physical needs. The volunteers also offer hot showers and clean laundry to hard working Disaster Relief volunteers. Disaster Relief is a ministry of the heart – caring people rushing to people in crisis to offer the help, healing, and hope of Jesus Christ.

Overview: At Huntington Church, our partners host an informal gospel-centered gathering where people can make friends, explore faith and become family. When friends come to serve, they can expect to rub shoulders with the local community and be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need in this area of our city. You will learn how to pray for, interact with and serve our neighbors in culturally appropriate ways they can feel the love of Jesus. We have opportunities for serving by doing Sunday evenings, prayer time, fellowships, bible study and other projects that projects that ministers to neighborhood, like backyard VBS and block parties.
