The Parent's Day Out program is for children, twelve months – three years of age, and the Pre-K program is for ages four years through those who have not yet attended Kindergarten. Teachers provide activities that are developmentally appropriate, hands-on, engage the senses, and are driven by the child's God-given interest and desire to explore. Learning centers provide child-initiated exploration in reading, science, blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, music, and art. Classes have Circle Time, when the alphabet, calendar and Bible story are presented. Also, SHARE time is held in the Pre-K class, where children can “show and tell” about an item specific to that day’s topic. The biblically based WEE Learn curriculum is used for all classes, and the Arkansas Benchmarks are taught and integrated with the WEE Learn Curriculum for the Pre-K class.
